Who would have thought someone would dig out the back of that hotspot I got the coyote and the fox last week? Dumb trapper.




I went nuclear on the reset.

I got the dirt hole guided and stuffed that hispid cotton rat from the prior post WAY down there. Added the hickory crotch and some new fox hollow lure that’s never been on this property.

I added 3 DPs too.

Final stages of tanning a spotted skunk. Going to start ramping up more furs, got a couple mink in the first stage tonight.

Anyone wants to do some of their own fur work and have a question or two, shoot me a message, happy to help.

I still just can't fathom the amount of opposum that you catch!

Look into hole restriction, piece of wood with smaller round hole and restricts large animals from entering the trap.

What size hole do you general use?

What size hole do you general use restrictions are specific to the animal you want to catch.

Hole restrictions are based on the animal your trying to catch. In his case he was going for Marten, 4"x4" hole is about right for them, other critters will be different.

Here's what I did with one of my spotted skunks.

never caught a porky in a livetrap, baited with dry dog food before....

Tomahawk still cooking. Pork rib remains were discovered first or priority over the DP nearby.
