Finally got my first real mature buck this season. Im 31, started hunting when i was 12, so by my math it took a metric $h1t ton of hours put in trying to make it happen! Super pumped about it. Shot him basically under my stand at 5 yards, then got a follow up shot in him at 36. Wisconsin

Got lucky over the weekend:

35 yards with my ol 77/44. 240 gr XTP over Blue Dot in Starline brass, WW primer (been using that same load for 25+ years).

My cousin got lucky as well:

1187 12 ga. for him.

A friend of ours got really lucky with a double back-scratcher!

I'm a new landowner as of August. Just bought 33 acres in central Kentucky. This is my first deer on my own place. I shot this 6X8 Nov 15. I sent a photo to my banker and told him I made a good investment that paid real dividends. He laughed and congratulated me😊

My daughter and I spent some time in southern Arizona on a late season coues tag.

At 15 she’s the best hunting partner I’ve ever had.

Athletic
Never bitches
Great glasser
Great shooter
Even packs out meat .
