You better be scouting 30+ days if you expect to get a 330 bull in 6a. Few and far between. I wish you luck though. That would be a special elk in that unit.

My brother pulled unit 10 late rifle. He only had 4 points too haha. Should be alot of fun. Hopefully all the big boys don't run on to the rez after the rut.

I believe it. They're just few and far between. I think we're going to see a lot more big bulls this year out of the lesser producing units with all the moisture we've had. Especially if we continue with this wet spring and get decent monsoons.

This is why I put in for cow tags and hunt bulls in NM. I cannot handle the wait or points game and would rather hunt every year/ every other.

I drew a late muzzleloader elk hunt. I had 2 bonus points and on the portal my tag number was 67. I was shocked I didn’t draw my first choice late rifle 6A since they give out a good chunk of non resident tags

Funny, My Dad and I pulled late muzzy tags and were were tag 65, and 66

Unit 1 archery. One in a lifetime, here we go!

Like most antelope unit's that one's not hard to figure out. Plenty of easily accessible glassing spots. Prepare to cook out there in the heat, not much shade to be had in lots of it and it can get freaking hot.
