Harper’s first! Nice Mt. Harper DS206 twister.
Results of my early monsoon season solo hunt. Hunted my butt off and ultimately stumbled into this guy as I was looking for a better exit strip. He’s beautiful, no where as big as the area can produce or the ram I had originally went after, but overly meaningful in that it was my first solo sheep. Also had to end my hunt on time to focus on my 10yo daughter’s namesake hunt and if knew if we both needed a second trip in to connect, she comes first. So this gent was a welcome blessing. Certainly fumbled up pretty much everything one can in the process, all the way down to leaving my pack behind while finishing the stalk and forgetting where I put that rock looking thing.
Is there two sheep in this picture, or is my mind/eyes playing tricks on me?It happened all right!
Great job Ben, congratulation's!

I'm not sure where the photo came from. As with most big rams here in AK, photos get floated around quite a lot.
Beautiful ram! That will get the fire going for your first one!
I dont have any good photos (no camera on trip) just some lastlight cell phone snaps.
Nonetheless another wicked trip into Northen BC produced another great ram.
