MT. Just a nice 3x4 (tiny little 4th you cant see). Waiting to hear back on the tooth, my guess is 4.5 yr.
Nice looking buck! Love those big 3's! Looks like you had great hunting weather.

I'm genuinely curious as to the pictures of your bucks with you glassing. What is the reasoning?
😂 was also my first question. As a man who took a pic with a bunny grip n’ grin style, I think this photo-op needs a re-work. Might need to take one like that next time I have a buck down though! Seems like a fun bole meme to start, the photo really stuck with me after viewing 30 different mule deer pics

You’ve got a point. Of all the great pics with awesome bucks on here, the glassing next to a dead deer pictures are the ones I’ll remember

How's this for derailment, not exactly 2022 but this is my first ever desert mule deer out of Arizona with my bow this January. 20 yard shot, ran 40 and died. It took four years in the making to get a buck on the ground out there and I couldn't be more thankful for the experience. Screenshot_20230118-070424_Gallery.jpg

Well, this guy was just supposed to come home with me. We saw him on day 2. I had him in my scope at 230 yards bedded with a bachelor group. He had the width I was looking for, but after about 15 minutes of watching them, they got up and walked within 70 yards of us. I decided to pass on him due to the broken point. I hoped I wouldn’t regret it towards the end of the season, but we were seeing good numbers of deer.
2 weeks later, I was stocking 2 deer fighting and this 4x4 was pushing a 3x3 out of his area. I was sneaking down to get a closer look and they walked right at me in and out of brush to about 30 yards then turned sideways. At 30 yards buck fever took over and I didn’t pass him up a second time.
