My wife's UT general season public land buck. Had our 4 kids with us (ranging from 4-10). She was debating on passing but once he stood from his bed she knew she wanted him.

My CO second season public land buck. Hunted the majority of the week, passed several slightly smaller bucks. When I saw he had some extra stuff going on, I decided it was time to punch my tag.

Was able to get my dad and wife on a deer first morning of hunting about an hr apart. With 70 mph winds forecasted for the next day we felt fortunate to be done. Came back later for my own deer hunt. Had to hunt much harder than normal to locate a mature deer that wasn't crab clawed. Overall I'd guess deer numbers where down 50ish %. All deer where shot with a 139 scenar out of a 6.5x284, great bullet.

Our annual Nebraska Mule deer/Whitetail trip was a grind but we ended up taking three nice deer.

Day 6 I spotted a good whitetail we had history with a mile out. Over 5 hours I managed to slip into under 100 yds to notch the first tag on a heavy 5 year old whitetail.

Bobby (Obieone1) started off day 7 by putting down a true Nebraska giant he had spotted at first light. He spotted him about 3/4 mile out and worked into 100yds and made a great shot. This was our groups first mature Mule deer. It was an incredible morning admiring such an animal.

Jacob and I helped Bob pack out his deer and decided to squeeze in one last evening hunt before we headed home in the morning. We managed to spot a good buck pushing does our way but he was a mile out. He worked into 500yds and Jacob made a great shot to end out or hunt.

I see Robby has posted a thread for the best mule deer buck photo but this thread is for whatever mule deer harvest photo you would like to have on the meat pole. I hope to be there in about 45 days......

MT General - Deer numbers seemed down. Very happy with this guy!

Well, it was quite the adventure... picture of him the night before when we found him, I really liked his beer belly and his body structure.. I just felt he was an old mature buck... the next day, I had bumped him twice and was as close as about 25yrds when I bumped him out of his bed.. about 8 hours and a few miles later, I dropped him just before some private land... frikin epic day with some solid friends!!
