2021 MULE DEER MEAT POLE

My 8-year-old son passed hunter education this Spring, so my focus was getting him a deer. Spent the first weekend of the season chasing blacktail, but with football every Saturday, it made it tough. Second weekend of the season, we headed East right after football to hunt the last three days of the Mule Deer season. First full day we were there, he made an awesome shot on his buck, and then the very next day I was able to tag this 3x3. It was awesome to have us both tag out together, and my dad was with us as well.

Not a big deer, but I hiked a lot of miles and worked my butt off to find him. Me and my sons will have plenty of jerky to make and eat while we plan next year's hunt. November 5th, North-Central Montana.

Even got to take my brother out for his first muley plus one for myself.

My wife's UT general season public land buck. Had our 4 kids with us (ranging from 4-10). She was debating on passing but once he stood from his bed she knew she wanted him.


My CO second season public land buck. Hunted the majority of the week, passed several slightly smaller bucks. When I saw he had some extra stuff going on, I decided it was time to punch my tag.
