Had a fun hunt with my son second season with a leftover tag. Bagged this nice Kangaroo a touch over 100 yards with my freshly built 6mm creedmoor. She didn't put up much of a fight against the 88gr hammer.

Some great bucks this year! A good buddy and I went to SE Idaho for the first time this year and what was supposed to be a weeklong adventure turned into 3.5 days with work and family obligations coming up. Made the most of it, wish we would’ve camped further north in the unit just for access to hunts. Only saw a handful of bucks and this guy was one of the best. Was in a heavily traveled draw system with a road in the bottom, but was bedded in the brush within a couple hundred yards of the road but out of sight. Glad I took him, he’d been shot thru the top of the backstrap during archery season. Anxious to go back and do it again knowing what I know now!

These are two of the biggest bodied mule deer I have ever seen.

I had hopes of a big Nevada mulie but found a little guy that someone had shot in the lower leg. His leg flopping around as he climbed up the hill, away from my buddy and I made the decision easy. Meat pole worthy and tasty.

Saskatchewan archery buck! Quartereing away at 10 yards, arrow lodged in his front shoulder and he was down in 25 yards,
Just threw the orange on to take my daughter on the blood trail since there are a bunch of rifle and muzzle loader seasons on and road hunters are crazy around here
