2021 bird season

Now that I am retired, living the dream... Ptarmigan starting Aug. 10, then Ducks starting Sept 1. in Alaska,

Then pheasants/ducks in Montana from Oct into January.
99.9 % of my bird hunting is solo, just me and the lab.
I never saw another hunter in the field which was so nice.

What goose decoys do you use? I've always hunted ducks, but going to hunt for geese next year on the Flathead River in Montana. Thanks.

I was running a mixture of Bigfoots and divebomb skinnies with flocked heads.

the black and white divebombs are killer on geese they love those i always run them where i want them to land . i run them with the v2f and have done really that i dont use any full bodies any more. A guy i hunt with was not convinced but one day he agreed to the all skinny spread and 47 geese later he has his full bodies for sale.

Just closed out the season woth a Spring goose hunt in Arkansas.

Excited to shoot this Blue Phase Ross Goose. Already off to the taxidermist for a mount.
