2016 Mule Deer Meat Pole

Last day of the season eastern MT buck.

I was moving heifers on the ranch and this fella caught my eye. Set up on a couple of times with my longbow. Didn't happen. I seen him again rode back to the truck to get my rifle. I tied my horse and snuck into about 75 yards on this fella. He will taste good.

After not filling my cow tag, I decided to take the first buck I saw to put some meat in the freezer. That spike got real lucky that this guy followed him over the ridge, 40 yards away from me.
