I think I'm personally paying a chunk of overhead and utilities for S&S archery the last couple of months. Thanks for all of your help Rob.

Rob, it may b to early to know but is the vaper stormlight comparable to the boundary stormtight? Both r 2.5 layers. Or is it lighter than the stormtight? I never could find a weight spec for the stormtight. Thx

The boundary is 19oz or so and the vapor is 12oz. Steve actually go to "borrow" an early model and loves the weight and feel, but did mention the lack of pit zips was an issue.

Both have the same stretch, and the vapor is actually more breathable and more water resistant.

Luckily for me, rain is rare in Idaho. But given the choice id choose the vapor just to have in my pack if i ever needed it.

How would you compare the Cirrus puffy to the Uncompahgre? I understand that the Cirrus is a minimalist version with no hood and virtually no pockets? Have you been able to notice any difference in warmth or durability? Also, if you could only choose one for a backcountry style hunt which one would you prefer? I like the hood and pockets on the Uncompahgre but the Cirrus is intriguing because its new and less expensive. Thanks!

The Cirrus has less insulation than the Uncompahgre does. (60g vs 100). and the cirrus is less weight. As far as which i would take.. i think if I had a soft shell jacket with me or it was early season I'd go with the Cirrus. Later season or early season and no Jacket, id go with the Uncompahgre.

I would say they are the same, however the Uncompahgre has 100g insulation on the body, where the Cirrus only has 60g.
Sounds like both are great for different scenarios.
