How would you compare the Cirrus puffy to the Uncompahgre? I understand that the Cirrus is a minimalist version with no hood and virtually no pockets? Have you been able to notice any difference in warmth or durability? Also, if you could only choose one for a backcountry style hunt which one would you prefer? I like the hood and pockets on the Uncompahgre but the Cirrus is intriguing because its new and less expensive. Thanks!
Mine should be here Thursday that I'm taking to AK with me. I will post up my thoughts! Also, a full review will follow.

Hey guys,

I dont want to alarm anyone, but we are already finding some of the more popular items are selling out, especially in Fusion. If you are looking to get some of the new 2016 gear, I'd get your order in now.

And again, if you dont see what you are looking for, shoot me an email, and if its available i can add it to our pre-season order.

We also have free shipping on everything, and the lowest possible prices.

Kenton C. reached out to me in February and sent me the Dobson boxers and Minaret crew to use/test.

No question that Aerowool is the best wool/synthetic blend I've used, by a considerable margin. Against the skin it feels like 100%, top shelf merino. Dry time is as good as slightly lighter wool/synth blends. Moisture management is just exceptional; the fabric doesn't feel boggy like straight merino, and resists flash-off as well. No other base layer fabric I've used balances these as well, not even close.

Fit of the Dobson is exceptional. Great contouring of the waist and it resists plumbers butt well. They only had a Minaret left in large, and I'm on the border between medium and small in FL shirts, so I can't comment quite so well on the shirt. Thumb loops are well done. The boxers I've worn constantly for the last three months, while the shirt has been used a bit less just due to the size.

For me, these are ideal fall and spring garments. I've never been a fan of wool or wool blends in super hot weather, and 140 grams/meter is for me too heavy for 80F or above. The longer legs on the boxers add warmth, but again aren't something I want in hot weather. I'll keep using light 100% poly for summer, and switch to Aerowool in mid-September.

Does anyone know if they've changed the fit or wool on the chama? I've been disappointed in the fit from the one I purchased last year. The tail is shorter than the front and the large looks like it was sized for someone with a beer gut - there's a ton of loose fabric along the waist. It's a pain to keep tucked in when I'm stooping or bending at the waist. There's no stretch, so it just kind flops around. I'm not a delicate young flower, so kuiu's skinny fit isn't really for me either. I have a smart wool NTS, that I like the fit on a lot better.

Are you implying the weight of the Aerowool products is 140? I haven't seen this number published anywhere.

I figured since I made the above comment, and i got a couple pairs of corrugates in LG tall yesterday, I'd post something. I'm a shade under 6'5", and run 195-215, depending on if my wife's eating "paleo" this week. I wear a 34x36 in jeans, and the tall corrugates fit the same, maybe even a bit longer, and First lite says they're 34" inseam. So i broke out a flexible tape and a couple pairs od Kuiu attacks( one factory hemmed, one let out, and a pair of jeans.

Aaaand....my big thumb hit post. Sorry. So anyway, the Jeans and the Corrugates measured the same. Inseam, front rise, and rear.
Attacks:
Inseam-331/2" hemmed, 34" hem let out.
Front rise- 9"
Rear-12"
Corrugates:
Inseam- 341/2
Front rise- 12"
Rear rise- 15"
So, that extra 3" in the crotch, plus 1" in the length, gets you to that "TALL" length inseam. If you like your pants to cover your belly button, well, your SOL, they'll be short. If you wear your pants like anyone under 75, they should be long enough up to 36. Past that, you may want to buy matching gaiters.
