So Aron, when are you going to reveal all of the other new goodies?

Here's a list

Nomad pack

2014 Grab It

Adjustable Height Gun Cradle

Adjustable Height rifle scabbard (padded and can be used as a case as well)

Camp Bag

Aluminum Bikini frame

Center Zip sleeping bag (I'll have video up on this soon....super excited about the upgrades on the Slik bag!)

Center Zip pack (High Camp 7000 with wings like Nomad and full length center zip bag). This was designed for extended mission military operations, guides and extended backpack hunts. It has a larger opening than a DT1 (same as High Camp 7000), but another 2400+ ci with wings like Nomad. It actually looks like the Stone Glacier a bit, as it has pockets to the left and right of center zipper for Tpod/walking sticks.

May do a KU material dry bag for Nomad. This would be like the Quarter bag, but have a roll top. I'll keep you posted on this, as the quarter bag already works pretty dang good at this.

Love the modularity. Now I won't need 3 different packs for my different styles of hunting... Will the back pouch be offered in the KU material? If not, will a KU E&E fit on the Nomad? Is it $244 for it in Kryptek?

The KU E&E will fit for sure.

I gotta check, but I think its $244 for standard colors.

Yep, its on the cart and ready to order.

What info do you need?

Thanks for the response. I did not realize that; and did not know whether they were in some sort of webbing sheath, or just attached to the frame the same way the composites are.

So to form the alum. ones on the Bikini, you just sort of bend both stays somewhat together?

Not that I really need a new pack or anything. But who knows, my wife might ( wink, wink); and that might give me the opportunity to "borrow" hers sometimes. :D

You can bend them one at a time, but if you have an idea of what bend you like, let us know on the order form and we can get it close before it's all put together.

I have been annoying the crap out of my wife since I saw these vids. Since most of my stuff is close to home I mainly do 1 dayers or 1 night. Occasionally do 1-2 much longer. Loved the big dt1 this year but digging through it to get to stuff when empty was kind of annoying. This seems perfect.

So I assume that when the nomad goes up for sale it will just be the nomad part. Lid and other bags/pouches will be separate? I may start selling a few things and don't want to sell something I'll need or want on this pack.

I know its early but any idea on weight of camp bag? Seems like the Ku material with the camp bag would work great. It looks like the sides tlp and bottom would be well protected by the pack so durability wouldn't be an issue. Like using a dry bag only I love the roll top and zipper part on the camp bag.

Yes, the Nomad is sold separate. We wanted everyone to be able to use what Kifaru gear they already had, rather than sew it all on and loose versatility.

The Camp Bag (I think) weighs 12.5 oz's, but I will look at my notes when I get back to Kifaru and check.

Is the center zip the only change to the Slik bags? For me that wouldn't be an UPgrade. I don't like a tight bag so use it unzipped for the most part. A center zip would leave me exposed and cold.

As for the Nomad, I would have to get my hands on one before I could make ANY determination as to the functionality for my style and preference.

Aron- I will likely get one to put through a torture test... Do you feel a grab-it is necessary to secure a meat load? I would like to run it bare if possible.

BTW- You talked to my buddy Gary here in WY a while ago and he was impressed by your phone conversation... This pack will be almost exactly what you two talked about.

Well I've only watched about of third of the videos and it looks like something I'm going to need. And for all my smart ass friends ... yes it will work real nice riding next to me in my truck, lol
