2013 Season (photo heavy)

Ironman8, I picked up the Bikini with a HC7000 this year, and my first meat pack with it was a rear quarter, a front quarter, the back straps, and neck meat from a yearling cow elk with a lil day hunting gear included. It handled like a dream. Keep the pictures coming Aaron!

Thanks for the pics Aron and company glad to see your season started so well. This gets me amped up for Friday leaving work for a week heading to northern nevada for muzzleeloader cow elk and buck deer with my son and my hunting partner. Good hunting to everybody this year.

Aron,
no worries on the unanswered PM's, emails, I know what you'e doing and all those pics you posted are worth the wait to get caught up. You're for real!

Great pics, making me envious of the opportunities you have to hunt. I would love to be out in the field and would be if it wasn't for the four letter word we all have to live with "WORK" Necessary evil.

Fantastic photos! Am using them as bait for my 9 year old, as we are planning a DIY for 2015. These are really helping with the recovery from a double cervical fusion that eliminated my 2013 season.

Aron, any insights or are you planning any gear reviews as a result of the hunts?

Yes, but it'll be a while.

Joe and I are trying to fill our list b cow tags right now (not sure how excited he is about the 4 mile hike in for a cow).

We're coming out next week, but I'm heading to Idaho to help Ryan with his moose after that....then a couple Colorado goat hunts in mid October.

I'll have a write up of the season/ gear as things slow down.

Dont you have sheep hunt this season as well or is that next season?

Getting some color change in the hardwoods. It snowed on us a little this AM, but nothing stuck.

Temps are much cooler than a week ago......and the rain is getting a bit old.

Joe and I split up, so I'm not sure how he's doing (he likes the rain as much as I do)

I had one 5x5 come in silent about 30 minutes ago, but of course.....no cows.

Justin Davis and I are out now.....it's cold!

Got in late this afternoon. Have a couple bugling right now, so hopefully we can kill one when daylight comes.
