They can live a long time. I killed an albino that we had seen for 14 years, and she was mature when we first saw her.

I've killed a number of real monsters in MO but never thought to have them aged. How do you go about doing that? Send in a tooth? If she still has them.

Wow! What a sly old gal to last that long from all kinds of predators. I thought 12 was about the end of the line for most any deer.

14 years old! That’s crazy!! I’m curious about the taste too.

My 14 year old was virtually inedible. She'd also been hit by cars a few times over the years and could only walk about 50 yards at a time before needing to lay down. It was a mercy kill more than anything.

She wasn’t albino, she was just so old her brown fur turned white lol.
Really cool though killing a albino deer. Congratulations

A piece of jawbone with teeth, if the state Fish & Game agency does aging. Some may even do aging with just a picture rather than a sample.

Check your hunting regulations guide to see if your state, or one of the universities in your state does aging studies.

I’ve always been curious about life expectancy of doe in the wild. Can’t imagine too many bucks live beyond 6/7 and 20 may never happen again

I’ve killed a doe that I’m assuming was 10+. She didn’t have a top tooth left in her head, only a couple on the bottom. She was 140+ (142 if memory serves) field dressed.

Absolute unit of a doe. She wasn’t super chunky but her frame and body dimension was more like a big bucks than a doe.
