Kept telling myself I would not buy a new bow this year unless there was some major improvement over the 2014 Carbon Spyder. Will be interesting to shoot the new ZT roller side-by-side, but I don't think that will push me over the edge on buying a new bow. Although, I suppose I could sell the Element and move my CS to the stable as a back-up.

Look forward to hearing what others have to say about the new line-up.

Will be very interested in what you have to say, and want to come down when you have the Turbo and 30 to try out. How are they getting another 10fps out of the Turbo with the same brace height? No gains on the 30 or 34. Is this a turbo specific cam?

May as well add my Element to the classifieds....lol.

Yeah the cam on the Turbo is different than the Z5. I'll be setting Cam's up here in the next day or two and Ill get to see just how well it shoots and performs.

I just saw the new Hoyt line up and the CST sure got my attention at 350fps, especially knowing that hoyt dosen't inflate their numbers. I see a new bow in my future, sure glad I waited another season before picking up a new bow.

Now I'm really on the fence about upgrading. Sure do love my Carbon Matrix G3 and didn't feel enough improvement when I shot the Carbon Spyder to warrant changing. Will have to shoot this one and see.

I'll likely be keeping my G3 Element. I like the new flexible roller guard and the concept behind it, makes sense. I'm a little gun shy of buying new technology the first year it comes out. I would rather wait a year and let them get the bugs worked out and buy the refined version.

So I finally had a chance to shoot the new CS Turbo ZT. Super nice bow. I was expecting a bit stiffer draw cycle but was pleasantly surprised that it drew just as smooth as the Z5 cam. The difference was in the valley. It has a short valley but not so short that you can't relax a bit on the back end. I did just a very quick set up/tune on the bow and it was shooting very tight groups right after. The new roller system didn't add any additional noise to the bow either.

Overall it's another home run. We'll be getting some of the Nitrum Turbos in in a couple weeks. I'm expecting that bow to be another really sweet shooting bow.

OR I've hear they are very close to a mix between the rkt and the original spiral cams, any truth to that?
