In my opinion they feel nothing like a spiral cam. The draw is very similar to the Z5. Smooth all the way through then a quick but smooth drop into the valley. The valley is short but very manageable, being it doesn't want to just take off on you. I was expecting it to ramp up and be a stiffer draw but that's just not the case. Overall just a great shooting bow.

Cam's FB video is a Nitrum 34. Why did he ditch the turbo? Is the Turbo a 3D rig but too touchy for hunting?

My thoughts on this were he shoots what Hoyt wants him to market. Cameron was shooting carbons and got those really popular with people. Hoyt wants to market the Nirtum Because the sheepeople out there will shoot what the celebs shoot.

That's just my theory.

Also could be the fact Cameron only shoots 80# and the turbo models only go up to 70lbs.

What draw length are you and what cam # did you shoot?

I don't know if this is a real reason or not. Technically shooting the turbo at 70 would be like shooting the 34 at 80.

Either way I'm excited to shoot a turbo, it's the first hoyt since the vector series that has caught my interest.

I think it is. His nitrum 34 was about the same as his 80lb CS spyder turbo, and that was plenty fast for him. My guess is, he wanted 80lbs and the fact that he could have a longer brace and ata, while maintaining the speed of a shorter speed bow, he went with the longer ata and brace.

Some folks shoot better with a higher holding weight, so they will shoot a higher draw weight or lower let-off to achieve it.

The fact that we are speculating on a marketing video from the Facebook page of a TV personality is interesting - Rokslide TMZ style?

Sure we will go with that... But beleive me if the turbo came in 80# he would be shooting that.

I don't care what he shoots. I shoot a Spyder Turbo but wonder if the new cam might be too touchy.

If he wanted to shoot a certain bow he would. The 34 and Turbo are both Nitrums. You could be right. Last year he shot a 90# bow.

A 350fps bow could be too unforgiving for hunting is all I am saying. Maybe his accuracy on the Factor Turbo wasn't like he wanted, compared to a 34.

I only ask because I am torn between the two. If a speedbow can be shot accurately in less than ideal conditions then that is great.

My G2 Carbon Element seemed more forgiving than my ST but I don't care for carbon.

Franklin only you can decide that, go shoot it and see what the valley is to you. I doubt hoyt went away from what they do best, good speed with great shootability. I doubt it has less valley then any bow pse has put out in a while and I'm sure it doesn't have the valley of the elites.

Cam asked for a 34 because he could get that bow in 80# and he prefers a slightly longer A2A bow. He does have a Nitrum Turbo coming as well.
