Ya, but that one was in full velvet. So you probably shot him in July out of season. Now you have a valid legal tag in season. If you would shoot the other one out of season, pretty sure you'd shoot this one in season.

They are close enough to the road I was able to get a roadkill tag on the first without a second thought by the wildlife officer.

Day 1-3, probably pass if I'm seeing other better bulls consistently, although at that range broadside, I would at least think about it. Days 4-10, shoot, but at that point I would be hunting a cow. Rather let him grow.
