Looking forward to the trip report! Love me some peak-bagging. I really want to do Hood someday.

Nice day indeed! Congrats on the summit! Looks like quite the crowd following you to the top.
How those legs feeling? Second day after always seems worse to me for some reason.

I believe we went on the first decent day that was available for all of May, so there were plenty of people itching to get to the top.

I felt pretty good the day after. My calves were pretty tight though!

That very day, likely close to your summit time, I was looking at Hood through my spotter, thinking of all the guys that would be attempting on a great Saturday. It was gorgeous that day. I ended up only making it as far as Welches (but that was where I was working that day).
I wanna go so bad! Huge congratulations are in order to you and your crew.

Nice work! Looks like perfect weather too.

Read about this guy but only if you want to feel humble.

Yeah, I read about him before we went. Absolutely hilarious. I joked that I wouldn't be able to beat his time, but I could try to beat him on wearing less clothing! :ROFLMAO:

We did it!

Lucked out and had a great day for it.
Oh hell yeah! Nicely done video. Those mountains are huge considering they start at close to sea level. The actual elevation gain makes many of the mountains in the Rockies look pretty small. Love it!
