10x vs 12x Binoculars – I Went Too Big

There is no perfect power, but for most applications, people use more Xs than they should.

I believe this holds true in scopes and binoculars. Alot of power hungry folks around.

I've been going down the path of 15x56 but now considering NL Pure 12x42. Love to get more feedback!

I have used my 12x50s ELs for every single deer, elk and bear hunt for the past 7 years and I don't plan on EVER selling them. I tried my buddies NLs and felt more fish eye effect than I do with the ELs when moving my eyes around when mounted on a tripod. I will never understand why people have a hard time hand holding 12s. If you need to check something at a long distance just hold on to your hat when you pull up your binos and ive never had a problem.

I ended up buying the Swaro NL Pure 12x42 and are loving them!

I went back-and-forth betwixt the 12x42 and the 14x52 NL. The 14x52 won out for me but I could easily see running the 12x42? A really great bino, the NL Pure.
