Cheap scope that tracks correctly for 22lr
Meopta Optika 5 2-10x42PA is an excellent rimfire scope. Bright, good reticle, parallax adj, etc. The design is a little to chunky and tactical for me, but I can look beyond that for a scope that performs -
Books to read while hunting
Lots of votes for Alaska's Wolf Man, and I totally agree. I'd also recommend Me Caribou Is On Fire! by Pete Buist. -
WTT The Boot Trading thread
Danner Grouse size 12, regular width. I wore them about 10 times. Uppers show a little wear, but the soles are near perfect (new). Great boots, they just don't fit me well enough to keep them. $275 shipped- jdub17

Which rifle for black bear?
Black bears are not difficult to kill. Any legal centerfire you shoot well is enough. Shot placement is much more important than caliber. -
Offline maps for Unit 26
I use Huntstand and have been very happy with it. You can download specific maps before a trip and they will be available offline. Its a lot cheaper than On X, and has all the features I need. -
