Following up here on the Fall Turkey hunt. Our group of hunters filled all the turkey tags by Tuesday morning. Five for Five, was a good hunt and clearly a good year for turkeys up there. We saw well over a hundred turkeys in a couple of days.
This will work, but chlorine is an oxidizer. Bad for metal.
Dryer sheets work for our trucks, rvs, utvs and trailers. Use every tactic you can. Eliminate food sources, get cats, use traps. Try everything until you find what works for your pack of rodents.
We go every year. It's a fun hunt and we always get into the Gambels. We did see quite a few early this year out in the deserts, should be a good year for them with all the rain.
I have pictures but obviously won't share that. Kid was a phenom in wrestling and football from middle school through college. In the weight lifting room he had every record in the schools, bench press almost 400 lbs, deadlift and squat over 400 lbs as a high school freshman. Every single coach...
.30-30 should be on the list directly. I'd guess a lot of hunters up north use it, especially for any hunting in thick timber where the range is usually under 50 yards.
Edit - I do understand that .30-30 isn't considered "straight wall". (I voted for .45-70 as my cartridge)
This has been happening ever since any edge existed, but it does seem much more common and acceptable these days. I knew a kid that was juicing in 6th grade, he had older brothers and dad that showed him the way. That was before social media, but social pressure has always existed at a smaller...
The singles are an opportunity for a new market in the US. I've tried the Bulleit single, it's alright but not for the markup over the 10 year, and it's not as good to my taste.
"Don't worry about it, as you get older life gets easier"
or
"If you think life is tough now, just wait until you are older"
Usually delivered when one of us kids were reacting poorly to feeling like everything was stacked against us.
One of the guys in our group has the Wolverine 1000 which works great for Arizona elk, quail, or hunting anything. It also works great for trail riding etc. Goes everywhere with the sportier RZRs, Talons, Can Am, etc.
The rear seat is much tighter comparatively for bigger guys and gear, but the...
Bad news for those that had tags, I hope they just postpone those who drew a few years. No matter which way it works out, the chances of drawing those tags have dropped for everyone.
Buffalo have been drowning for thousands of years.
AI is here and it is for real. The functionality is pretty simple but can be fairly nuanced depending on what you are trying to do. Accessibility is essentially child friendly now and will become even better, it is very easy to integrate into your routine. Use cases are about as wide as there...
I appreciate the sound panorama! Agreed there will probably be UTV noise where I'll be, hopefully not too much. I should have said Gobble Yelp or Kee Kee for the fall turkey noises. We'll see what the turkeys say this year. Just happy to get another opportunity to get out in the woods.
Using a Benelli M4 with longbeard xr loads and Carlson longbeard choke. Tube capacity isn't a rule in AZ. Still a 12g and weighs more than the smaller 20, 28 and 410's here but it works just fine if you want to get more miles out of a gun that you already have. The pistol grip and short overall...
I also have a handheld Ryobi pressure washer. They have a few versions from smaller handheld to a plug in electric cart model. We use it for distilled or de-ionized water rinse for spotless rinsing the cars, and also to take for our off road and SxS vehicles to knock down the mud/dust/dirt from...
