    300 Blackout hunting round?

Same here on the Barnes 110s. 2250 from a 10.5 2450 from a 16” with h110. Tried 125 tnts one year and asked myself why after. Everything I’ve tried the Barnes in shoots 1moa or better too. My ruger ranch will do 1/2 MOA on a good day. Pretty crazy.

.223 for bear, mountain goat, deer, elk, and moose.

I built a 223ai on a bighorn origin last year and it has pros and cons. Feeding sucks, 150-200fps is awesome…ect. Best thing is it is super accurate when fire forming. I’ve had a couple 5shot 1/4 min groups with it. But…I’m considering rebarrel to a vanilla 223 because the new wore off pretty...

I personally took a 180lb mature buck is GA hill country with a suppressed 10.5 using 73eld over a2520. 40yd… It died fast.

.223 for bear, mountain goat, deer, elk, and moose.

Yes….about 1fps per degree. A2520 is temp sensitive for sure and can have pretty big spikes at max load in the sticky hot summer. This particular load doesn’t have that issue in my guns. I also have a A2520 55sp load that shoots lights out but I don’t remember the charge off hand. My oldest...

.223 for bear, mountain goat, deer, elk, and moose.

I Watched that whole playlist and ended up in the exact same place with a different method after. My go to bulk load is 25.2 A2520 under 77smk, 75hpbt and 77 ncc or what ever 73-77gr I have available. I even took my buck this year with a 73eldm over same charge in LC brass.

.223 for bear, mountain goat, deer, elk, and moose.

Works well for me with heavies and it meters well. Makes good speed and accurate too….but it’s another nonexistent or extremely overpriced powder for the last few years.

.223 for bear, mountain goat, deer, elk, and moose.

I have a 3-16 stac that I bought used for 200$. Something came loose inside it so I printed their warranty form and sent it in….not knowing if I would ever see it again. Came back fixed in 3wks with back up paperwork and some swag. I was impressed.

I bought a blued 223 lite from Europtic last year (brand new) and it was keyholing 75 and 77s at fifty yards. Figured this out when I couldnt hit a a 8.5x11 sheet of paper at 100y with a known .3-.7 load. Ended up barrel was stamped 1:8 but was actually a 1:12 Berretta customer service was a...

    223 AI velocity potential

I built one on a Bighorn Origin and the feeding issues about did me in. I went with a 18" Crown ridge barrel works xcaliber barrel in a krg bravo. Both CRBW and Bighorn worked with me on different chamber mouth angles, bolt heads and finally a extractor modifications. This In addition to AICS...

    AR hunters

I hunt with ARs because I am comfortable with them ergonomicly. Really just prefer them. We also meat hunt does and I’ve taken 3 in a group of 5 before. We also have black bears around here. Adjustable lop is great for my kids too. We use 556 with 55s, 73s and 77s and 300blk with 110s. Never...

Cost to reload a .223 in the current market

God call...another is the RCBS crimp cutter chucked up in a drill. That was a game changer for me on LC brass

Cost to reload a .223 in the current market

I’ve loaded for a little over a decade and it’s been the same the whole time. It costs half as much to load so I shoot twice as much. All components equal I net zero savings.

I can confirm 73 ELD out of a 10.5" is deadly, give it a try in comparison.

.223 for bear, mountain goat, deer, elk, and moose.

Agree on both. I have had really good and repeatable results with the 300BO Barnes 110 combo in several different rifles on whitetails, armadillos, coyotes, ect. Always accurate too.....like unbelievable 1/2moa accurate in several barrels and never over 1.25moa in anything to date. Typically...

Pics added…we are really bad a taking pics as you can see. We also do gutless cleaning so very rarely do we inspect internal damage or hunt for bullets.

.223 for bear, mountain goat, deer, elk, and moose.

Well....we finished deer season in NWGA yesterday. On Saturday my 16y son got a 80lb button and a 100lb doe at 80ish yards with a 18" AR and 77TMK over 23.6 of XBR. He was sitting in a old lounge chair on the back porch of an abandon farm house where we hunt shooting off sticks. The button was...

Thanks for the compliments on the buck, is getting mounted. It’s been a slow year here with a huge acorn crop. Very little movement of the whitetail population compared to years past. Specifically the does…our group typically harvests 30-40 does per season as suggested by state biologist, this...
