308 Win and 155 grain Scenar out of 24’’ barrel should give 2950fps.. and very effective on game.
We have to use non-Toxic bullets now, so 168 grain TTSX is my choice since it has lowest velocity for reliable opening (according to Barnes).
Man… base Tikka T3 Lite SS costs $1900 here, and we are next door to Finland. Luckily I got mine 4 years ago on sale for $650.
Prices spiked alot last year and currency fell compared to US Dollar, but its kind of hard to think about.
Of our fixed limit of 8 hunting weapons, I have two Tikka...
Yeah, I belive I have larger hands..
Hope photos shows up..
Two where trigger finger is loose and behind trigger, and Pinkyfinger outside stock grip.
Two where all fingers are on stock, which results in my triggerfinger beeing squeezed out out of stock.
Compared to a photo of a M40A5, A-4...
Looks like a copy of what a Swedish gunsmith did years ago.
Uses Sauer 200 STR magazine, which there are hundreds of thousands of rifles here in Scandinavia, and millions of magazines. Feeds 6,5x55 and 308. But can accept 30-06 based cases.
Can see videos on his Facebook Page...
Anybody care to measure the KRG Bravo grip length/height?
How is the quality of this chassis? I am used to McMillans at this point. I know alot of people here like them … but they cost $780 where I live. So a bit costly to just try…
A fully adjustable McMillan A series is around $1400.

I am looking for aftermarket Tikka stocks with Vertical grip, and the most important thing now is grip length!
My current A-3 is approx 63mm or 2.5’’… and I just find it to short. My pinky, with gloves have no room.
Do you have any suggestions?
I would prefer to buy quality made European ones, then cheap imported plastic stuff.
And a break barrel, compared to a PCP. Atleast until you know you want to spend plenty more money.
I would recommend, Weihrauch (Or Beeman as its called in the US).
I am fond of their: HW30S, HW35E, HW77 or...

Canadian Rangers chose a Tikka T3 Arctic model with 10 round DBM.
I belive they see more wildlife then most.
Boring and reliable are good characteristics when it comes to hunting.
Can get ammunition everywhere and both do goats at 400m or bears.
Over here, and most other places a Tikka T3, is still a budget rifle, but an expensive one.
A T3x Lite SS, costs $1700..
So the US is still getting them dirt cheap, compared to even the country that makes them.
Its an scaled down Sako TRG action.. you can even use TRG trigger in a Tikka T3x...
Last time I checked, 8 firearms for hunting (more if you have an actual need) and 30-40 for competition.
And I can use most of the competition firearms to hunt with as well.
Long range shooting and stable barrel over many shots.
I have an T3 Lite SS in 308 and a spare T3 action, that I was planning on getting a heavy 308w barrel.. but it doesn't seem to be needed. :)
Norway.
Its a Finnish suppressor; Ase Utra SL7i
Store had a sale so; $340, but usually cost $440 (with todays currency)
Stainless steel, 31dB reduction with 308 in 20" barrel.
I belive its the same suppressor that Sako Trg are supplied with in the Finnish army.
NOT my rifle..
