I bought the Magpul Hunter option. 3 rounds at 100 yards to zero it. Next 5 shots were on target at 200, 300, 500, 700, and 850. I’m a solid believer in the Ruger platform.

I have a premium pump with a large unit. Once I replaced the clear hose with the right one ($200) my dry times dropped by almost half. Also replaced the cheap ball valve on the drain once it corroded. Also did the fix to stop the pump from fogging up the room. That was friggin' annoying.

At 5-10 deer a year between my wife and I, we used to freeze a LOT of venison. Much of it ended up in venison stew, venison chili, and of course venison meatballs for spaghetti dishes. That stuff eats freezer space. Now we have cases of mylar bags on the shelf, and eat those dishes a lot more...

I've taken several boars, a whitetail doe, and a coyote with my Super Jagare. Most shots within 30-40 yards, but have hit vitals at 100. It's a killer, for sure. The Buffalo Bore full power loads hit like a hammer and waaaaay out-penetrate the .45. Nice to move hands free with the chest holster...
