A lot of us carry for protection but who hunts with one with success?
I carry a g20 and with the optics now days I dont see the reason for me personally to use a g40 for the longer sight picture.
Just curious

I've taken several boars, a whitetail doe, and a coyote with my Super Jagare. Most shots within 30-40 yards, but have hit vitals at 100. It's a killer, for sure. The Buffalo Bore full power loads hit like a hammer and waaaaay out-penetrate the .45. Nice to move hands free with the chest holster to get through the Texas brush.

our Sig rep filled his doe tag on a whitetail at 120 yards with the P320 10mm with a red dot and a 124 gr Sig V-Crown.

upon further questioning the tasty little critter was more fawn than doe but dead and tagged nonetheless.

I have taken more than one whitetail with a S&W 1006 with basic open sights. Longest shot was 26 yards, but it kills with authority.

This was a couple years ago at about ten yards. I would have gotten more by now, but I moved out of whitetail country and I’m still trying to figure out killing these western critters with a rifle! Hope to get back into some pistol hunting before too long.

I personally run the G40 for the little bit extra velocity when concealments not an issue. However if it’s in my waistband it’s a G20

I hunt with a 10mm Glock 20, Smith 610, Glock 41 conversion. They have been great on many deer, coyote, and a few others. My favorite round/platform to reload and tinker with.

That G20 could be my favorite Glock…it lets you know you are shooting a decent caliber but not bad at all considering the power of the cartridge.

I've taken a few whitetail bucks and hogs with mine. It's a kimber with RMR and threaded barrel that I fitted with a silencerco osprey suppressor. Makes for a nice setup.
