Vests. U need all those calls handy when u can't move around much and unpacking a backpack can be troublesome when u run and gun. Get one with a seat on it u won't regret it.
This is my suggestion... Cabelas 1/2hp commercial unit .. Attachments can be purchased .. It's not terribly expensive... If not in a hurry you can catch them on sale... It's a well liked line of grinders ..

Shappell jet sled. Basic black. It's a deer hauling machine. I still have the idea of painting the bottom with some of that slick airboat paint to make it even easier. Right now I just hit it with a little silicone spray lube and it slides like butter over pretty much anything you can walk over.
I get my pork fat off of pork butts that I trim for pulled pork. Trim off the half inch fat cap, slice it up and freeze it. You don't want it on your pulled pork anyway, it would just go in the trash.
That said, most straight pork sausage recipes are going to be good with just taking the same...
My Son & I both run the K3 3200 Exo Packs, they are fantastic! Super comfortable & yes they can haul the serious weight in excess of a 100# -- That's pretty darned good for a pack that weighs 4# -- The adjustment from 25" to 26-1/2" takes 5 minutes & is worth doing if you have a longer torso...

Proof or seekins. And I recommend that you don’t get a light hunting rifle in a “magnum” caliber. They usually kick to much for most shooters to practice much and hence not shoot well. Maybe someone like a 270 Win. at the max.
I still use light rifles, but hiking a few extra valleys or ridges...
I have camped quite a bit in Pennsylvania and there are lots of bears. They will absolutely come into a campground and go after your food when people are around. One trip to Poe Paddy State Park a bear raided half a dozen campsites at dawn. It didn’t bother my food since it was locked in the tow...
I have used Varget in the .223 with the longer Sierra 69 MatchKing and experienced the powder "crunching" or compression you are talking about. Seems to be common with Varget from what I have heard.
223 is plenty for deer, you just have to use the right ammo and put the bullet in the right spot.
Do you know the twist rate of your rifle's barrel? I'm kind of surprised you are getting MOA accuracy with that heavy of a bullet if you have a slow twist that is common in a lot of 223 barrels.
Mesa Precision altitude, it's a sporter with high comb and vertical grip......oh and it weighs 26oz. You'll be waiting a while for it thou. They're back logged about 3 months. Here's the one I have on my 300wsm.
