looking at getting a kifaru mega tarp. any advice

I'm sorry to report that we are far behind on our Shelters Program, due in part to worthy distractions such as needs from our Special Ops community that we are pledged to support. Consequently, we are many months behind on the Tarps.

eltaco, i try to tell folks to place the belt's center line on the hip bone POINTS, not the TOPS. The points are further around toward your navel, and an inch and a quarter lower than the tops. So, yes, you very likely are running your pack too high. (Note: these "points" are notoriously the...

Question about my new Kifaru pack

Rizzy is right...this is almost certainly too tight Delta Straps. Before you do ANYTHING else loosen them completely and then tighten the belt very tightly. The problem in using the Deltas when you don't need them, or too tightly, is that they crumple the belt such that it can't get a proper...

Just for the sake of accuracy, the Sawtooth/4 man pipe is 84 inches; the 6/8 man pipe is 96 inches.

Rucker61, I am not where my briefcase containing all stove builder's specs is, but if memory serves the Ed T stoves are 7 1/2 inches by 10 inches and 14 inches of actual combustion chamber due to their inwardly dished end plates. So the smaller stove calculates to 441 cubes; our Small Lo Wall...
