Nobody, hunh? With as many gearheads as are on Rokslide, I am surprised no one has snagged one of these and done a review yet. I ended up going with a SG COL 4800, so I am not quite as interested, but still be good to know how they stack up.
My new AGC Kobuk 57 pack that I have used no more than a dozen times this season self destructed in mid hunt. Had a whopping 50# of gear and the shoulder strap tore out and dumped my bow, spotting scope and the rest on he rocks. The strap was sewn in with one little single row stitch. Love to see what would blow out with 200# in the pack. I wouldn't trust this pack to leave city limits. I am a retired green beret and did a little rucking in service. Never seen a pack go to crap like this one with so little weight. The Kobuk57 wouldn't have lasted 10 minutes in a combat zone. Keep looking if you care about your gear, your hunt and your life.
Looks like it's never been used. Pristine.
Apart from the failure, what was the pack actually like to carry a load with?
With your experience what was it that attracted you to the Kobuk over other packs in the same top tier price range?
