I have used Tenacious Tape for quite some time on lots of gear from jackets/pants to tents/fly's and temporary patches on packs. Some of those fixes have been in place and still going for 2-3 or more years. My pack always has a roll in it.
It is called a down jacket, "puffy" sounds so super gay! Been wearing down for 30 years and never referred to my jacket as a puffy, LOL.
If you want to be a mountain hunter its called a down jacket. If you want to walk Fifi and Fofoo in Central Park its called a puffy. :p:p:p

I carried that exact rifle for a few years. I did lots of work to it and it would always shoot two 150g TSX hand loads touching at 100Y and the third was always high and right about 3/4" to 1''. Not sure why but I was never really happy with it. Still a very good mountain rifle though...

Cheers!

Aron, I agree with what you are saying and the way you would like to see Rokslide stay, good info from guys/gals who have actually used the gear... I would like to see it continue that way as well. Far too many websites out there with thousands of teens sitting in mom's basement telling you all...
I didn't get lots of time with that pack but from what I saw I liked. Seemed well made and quite comfortable. Some more time with it properly adjusted would be nice.
In the saddle it was great as the frame rested on the cantle and took all the load from my shoulders, LOL! I know, I cheated but...
I might know that buddy ;)
I have owned and used a pile of Talley lightweights but will not trust them anymore, period. One set broken on my primary sheep rifle for no apparent reason has steered me clear of them completely. That's all it takes for me. That broken front ring could have...
