Trichinosis, be honest, have you gotten it?
I ate a metric ton of wild pork around 1999 - 2001, so much that I can't stand it. I drag them off now. I never got it and I ate some form of wild pork 2 or 3 times a day for years. If it's anything like salmonella, I will glady pass. I have had that twice. -

358 win in browning a bolt micro??
Sounds interesting, do you happen to know the specs? 18" or 20" barrel? Short LOP? I had a 700 ADL in 358 for a short while, 18", handy little package, original owner ended up with it again. Curious to hear reports from anyone with one. -

It's a Portugal produced rifle, nothing wrong with that. 9lbs 7oz is heavy, you might get a 1/2lb off with a smaller contour. Looking forward to seeing the finished project -

Is it a short action? What about a Target Max Competition Lite with the ARCA Swiss rail, lop spacers and has 2 QD sling swivels on the left side? Pictures if you are interested. -

I guess you missed the part about it having a Timney, that wasn't an upgrade. The stock is going to be heavy, it's a B&C and it's a later production rifle, it's hit or miss as well. A properly built 700 or a clone is money ahead. The availability of aftermarket parts alone would sway me. While... -
