    How’d your discussion go with Toyota? SWFA sells out all the time and they don’t actually make the scopes. They definitely aren’t going to pay a fabrication shop in the US to make the scope caps for one model of their scopes.

    Tough boot with soft tread?

    Have you tried Kenetrek’s? Their K talon sole is really soft rubber and the boots are tough. I actually don’t like the K talon because it’s soft. I burned through my Hard scrabble hikers sole in less than a year of daily wear.

    Good to know, thanks. I wear the scarpa kinesis pro & Kenetrek MT extreme. Hate the k talon tread on the kenetrek. This will be my son’s 1st year elk hunting. So helping him in the boot search. Been seeing a few threads on issues with crispi and their bad warranty policies.

    I agree with you on the Scarpas. But damn guy those boots are dry as week old turd in the desert. Did you wax them before the hunt? They look like they’ve been dragged over a lot of deadfall. My hunting associate does that and his Kenetreks look the same. He also only waxes them once a year.

    Ok you have the min qty from manufacturer. What’s their price per set at that min qty? I’d be in for 2 sets depending on price. Along with a lot of other people. You might be wasting a lot of time by not giving the cost. I wouldn’t pay more than $50 a set.

    SeekOutside 6P or 8P tent

    My group of 3 use the 8 man. Two of us are on army cots, the other on Helinox cot. We use the liners too so that cuts into the space. If you want to use cots I don’t think 3 would fit in the 6 man. Especially if you use liners.

    I used to have this pack, I don’t remember the load lifters connecting to the bag. Thought they were part of the harness that’s attached to the frame. You have a pic?
