Back Tension Releases

I get this, but if it's howling that hard, you shouldn't shoot at much distance. The wind is still strong enough, even in a split second from deciding to shoot and pulling the trigger, the wind is enough to still pull the bow off target.

Joe it ain't command shooting. If wrapping your finger around the trigger, and then using back tension to move the finger back to set the release, is identical to shooting a hinge where your pulling with back tension to rotate the hinge to fire. You essentially called every release a command...

Back Tension Releases

Yep no back tension releases ever made, just a method. I use a Scott longhorn 3 and honestly it's made me a better shooter since I don't ever have to worry about a trigger. All I do is aim.

Perfect release is related to form. Yes that's true of external factors, but then that brings up the question of distance given the situation.

What's the most accurate fixed blade head on the market?

A bow that is properly tuned, meaning bare shafts the same as fletched at 20+ yards as end result, should send almost any broadhead on an arrow where you aim. Tune and proper form Are as important as "which head is most accurate"

I second this. But on my longhorn I moved the moon so it COULDNT Fire. I drew my bow back a ton just gettin a feel for it. Also practiced my firing engine on a string. Then slowly went to the bow. Shot very little and worked on anchor, feel and most importantly learning my pin float. Then I shot...

Scott longhorn 3. Love mine and use it for everything. Haven't killed a animal with a hinge release but I only use a hinge now Their are no "back tension" releases. Back tension is a method to fire any kind of releases.
