    Would you buy this scope?

I think people need to consider eyesight differences too. I frankly don't think that my 48-year-old eyes could get the crosshair where it needs to be with enough certainty at 600 yards on a Coues deer. I think that's like eyesight at 100 yards on 6x, but 9x seems hard already.

    Would you buy this scope?

I agree 100%. Last two years I've taken 2 coues, one at 607 yards and another at 468 yards. Both 1 shot kills, but in both cases wished I had slightly more magnification than 9x on my SWFA 3-9, which has led to the acquisition of a Maven RS1.2 and a Trijicon Ten Mile for coues. Otherwise, I...

    WTS SWFA 3-9x42 HD

I'm selling a new-in-the-box SWFA 3-9x42 HD scope. It was purchased for a build that didn't come to fruition, and it's been sitting for a while, so it's time to let it go to someone who can use it. Not looking to make money on it just want to put it into the hands of someone who can use it $600...

I would buy one or more too.

    GPO Optics? Good/Bad or Ugly?

Depends on what optics we are talking about, binoculars and spotters, mostly Europe. But rifle scopes that hold zero and dial accurately? Definitely not Europe. Japan and the USA are tops for rifle scopes.

    RokStok

I like it, just don't let that thing near a largemouth or peacock bass.

Yet another Project 2025 progression thread

Nobody voted for Project 2025; it wasn't on the ballot. It came from the Heritage Foundation, not the Trump campaign, and asserting otherwise is baseless fearmongering.

    Scope Suggestion

If you want the scope to hold zero you only have 4 options: Nightforce, Trijicon, Maven RS 1.2 only, SWFA. Locking turrets, not sure other than nightforce. Swaros, Leupold, Vortex etc. do not hold zero.

    I kinda hate my scope...

Trijicon Huron, Ascent or Credo for what you describe, and it will hold zero, unlike any Swaro, Vortex, Leupold etc. https://www.eurooptic.com/Trijicon-Credo-25-15x42-SFP-w-Red-MRAD-Center-Dot-30mm-Matte-Black-Riflescope-29.aspx...

    "Budget"/Value 85(ish)mm Spotter

I'd try to find a used Meopta S2 or the same scope but now discontinued Cabelas Euro HD Spotter. Hangs up there with the best of them.

    Need for Swede

As far as reloading, there is a big difference between the common loads and the SKAN loads. The common loads are underloaded due to older rifles and pressure issues, but the SKAN loads are for more modern rifles like your Tikka. My general understanding after researching is that you can safely...

It costs a lot to arrange for public roads to be blocked by trailers to keep the competition away from a BOL.

    What torque screwdriver?

The Fat Stix can be purchased on Amazon right now for $98 and if you buy another item to get you over $100, you get 25$ off the transaction (I grabbed some handwarmers).

    Coues deer optics

I have the Maven 18s, pretty much identical optically to the Vortex UHDs, and I agree they compare very favorably to the Swaro and Meopta 15s. I use my Maven 18s the most of all my options during Coues season every year.

    Bino help?

Yes, I have the 10.5 Kowa Genesis and the glass experience is equal to or better than the SLCs, but they don't take an Outdoorsman stud, so you have to use one of the clamp type attachments for a tripod

    Bino help?

Kowa Genesis or Meopta and save a few bucks are other options.
