GPO Optics? Good/Bad or Ugly?

I had a hunch that your response would show that you are flighty in which names stir up your ire.

Back to the fallacious assumption that the German Precision Optics name is misleading. Even if it led you to believe they are made in Germany, why does that matter. It's not like German Made equals high quality. A lot of Americans have Euro-envy and assume that things made in Europe are somehow better than those made elsewhere. That's another goofy assumption that people would do well to ditch.

Where are the best made optics in the world manufactured?

I think you're taking this whole thing a little too serious and or maybe just trying to stir something up for some reason?

In addition to provinding the context for my thoughts on the name being misleading, my initial post on this subject stated that I have no trouble purchasing product from GPO, so clearly any "ire" I have on the subject doesn't amount to much at all. Further, I also stated that it's up to the individual consumer to define how much the name actually means - positive or negative - in terms of deciding to buy from them or not.

Depends on what optics we are talking about, binoculars and spotters, mostly Europe. But rifle scopes that hold zero and dial accurately? Definitely not Europe. Japan and the USA are tops for rifle scopes.
