Lots of bugeling the last couple years with snow on the ground opening morning. Wont break my heart if theyre more vocal in the dry heat but I still prefer to drop them on a nice cool day. Wish her luck for me.
They're pretty to look at but I find shooting a $50K+ double to be more stressfull than fun. I've had the opportunity to work on and shoot some stupid expensive shotguns and at the end of the day, I'd personally rather shoot a Browning or Beretta.
I prefer the EMRII. Day gear in the wings, camp in the main bag. Set camp, compress the bag and start hunting. Its also nice to have the center zipper to access the main bag if you have to dig around for something.
Hooking them to the bag helps to stabalize the bag. The hook ups for the delta straps on the frame is for when your running a cargo pannel or just lashing stuff to the frame.
