Kifaru Highcamp Change?

Has anyone bought a Kifaru highcamp recently new from Kifaru? I saw an ad with a highcamp and on the lower side portion it had PALS rows on the sides instead of the 4 tabs.

Where did you see the ad? I have actually thought about adding PALS to my highcamp along with a few other mods. I would love to be able to attach other stuff to the sides and even front like smaller pockets or even a gun bearer and other stuff.

I'd like to see an updated highcamp. And an even smaller one.

Hopefully the original poster doesn't mind me linking his photos. This was described as a Highcamp 4800. I'd definitely welcome a smaller highcamp that fits the 22" frame. When I had a highcamp and the smaller bottle pockets and mini-belt pouches came out I thought it was lame I couldn't attach them to the lower sides of the highcamp. If this changed, then it'd be great in my opinon.

Hmm, that is interesting. Perhaps the original owner had it done as a custom addition from Kifaru? I'm definitely adding it to the list of mods I'll add to my Highcamp.

I didn't think Kifaru did custom anymore...

Perhaps not. I wasn't speaking from knowledge, just throwing out the possibility. It would be a very simple modification that anyone could do at home probably or take to a seamstress and have them throw it on.

I bet it was either a prototype or a goof second. They sell seconds that are sometimes cooler then the product offered. I had a late season/express combo that was pretty cool.

I received my new highcamp 4800 today and it had the two rows of pals on the the bottom sides just like the posted pics. I was presently surprised.

I like the bag, very pleased with mine for what I want them for.
