Do you guys run it in the sleeve in the bag or between the bag and frame?

If between the bag and frame, do you use the Kifaru bladder holder or just fasten it by itself?

using DT2 but same principle applies I used the Sleeve inside the bag. I like it better as it keeps the water colder in my experience.

I can tell you from experience when the elbow your tube threads in cracks ...... It really sucks. Glad I run a synthetic sleeping bag. As mine got soaked. And I was five miles in thankful for tenacious tape. Sealed it really well I was able to get bag dried out. (Since then use a dry bag for sleep system) and it wasn't that bad.

Get a gigerigg and you won't have to worry about it. Go on YouTube and see the abuse they put it through if you don't believe me. Not saying it's bullet proof but pretty close to it.

I run it in the guide lid pocket, where the back pack straps stow. Keeps the weight of it up, when the bag is empty, and easy access if I need to get to it. If it leaks or breaks it's outside the pack.

I don't have a DT1 but I would run it the same way if I did.
