I think my shipping was less than that, but then things have been changing lately. The only shipping option I had was UPS International express, and the merch was here in two days on two separate orders. I was very impressed.
They are legit. Very well spoken of at Archery Talk forums, and others.
I've ordered from them twice in the last year. Received email notifications and fast UPS International express shipping. Both orders arrived at my door in two days.
I will order from them again without hesitation.
Well, I like the Discovery. The grip could be a little wider, but I got accustomed to it. The thing is, it's my only ILF/takedown bow, so I don't really have any basis of comparison.
I've got a Samick Discovery, and two sets of limbs, 30# and 45#. With my 32" draw length, they get good speeds.
I shoot the 30# a lot more than the 45#, it's just a great way to put in lots of arrows without stressing the shoulders too much. If you are young and strong you probably won't have...
I've got a fairly long draw length, around 32". Along the way I've shared some chronographed velocity numbers that are pretty fast. Some have suggested to me that maybe my chrono is off. It got me thinking, and I decided to run some velocity numbers at different draw lengths.
Using a 60"...
The chrono does come in handy. I'm using an old Chrony F1 I picked up for $60 or so many years ago. I believe the Chrony company has gone out of business, but Caldwell makes a chrono that doesn't cost a fortune.
I'll bet those Uukha limbs are going to be nice.
So with the 30# limbs and a 32" DL, I'm getting a 576gr arrow out at 165 fps.
That seems mighty fast for a 30# bow pushing 576 grains, regardless of the DL.
So I got to wondering where the speed would be at 28" draw. I marked the 576gr arrow at 28" with tape, and shot 10 or so over the...
The swingset brackets are from LV Steel Targets. I've had them for many years hanging steel for rifle shooting.

The conduit tubing I picked up at Home Depot.
I've hit the mat with several arrows since I first put it together in the 4x6' format.
Haven't had nocks bounce out.
Arrows come out easy enough. They do need a little coaxing but not bad. You wouldn't want to pin a paper target to the rubber and use it for a primary backstop, that would get...
I was using the full 4x6' rubber mat. It was kind of awkward to move around being big, heavy, and floppy. So I cut it in half to 3x4', and cut down the swingset frame as well. Easy to move, still big enough to catch most misses. I like it.

I have a side quiver also. Naturally it's not causing any noise on the shot, but it's kind of a PITA anyways. Noisy getting the arrows out of it, the fletches rub the interior and make noise.
I suppose they all are a PITA in one regard or another.
I started my archery journey about 18 months ago. Traditional archery, never owned or shot a compound. Started with a Toelke, and have added a couple Slick Sticks, and a Samick Discovery ILF.
I find I shoot my best with the ILF rig, but it hasn't dampened my interest in the wooden bows at...
I just added a set of 30# limbs for the high-volume practice sessions. They are the Samick R3 62" limbs (ILF Long). Made a little vid doing some bareshaft testing.
