There is a pile of BLM ground just east of Cody (5 minutes outside of town) you can camp on. There is also a nice spot once you get out of the tetons to the south. Once you get to the intersection at Moran go east on highway 26/287 for about 8 miles, youll be right at "The Hatchet" resort but...
102 or 15 are way better units than 10 or 109. There is essentially zero access in 10 and in 109 there are only one or two small chunks of state land that actually hold goats...
I made that jump last year, greatest move I've ever made. Id recommend picking up a leftover type 6 cow tag once they are released, that's how I got this cow last year even though I moved here after the NR elk deadline. Im up in Sheridan if you ever make it over to this side of the state

I live in Y, right next to C, its difficult to find trespass fee access out here. The vast majority of private land is leased up by outfitters and the stuff that isnt is generally already being hunted by family/friends. Its a fairly difficult area to gain access for anything besides shooting...
