    Carbon KNight

I think the carbon knight is just a regular binary and lacks yokes. Carbon overdrive has twin yokes. Either way the carbon knight has got very good reviews by a lot of people on forums like archerytalk. Enjoy the new bow!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Changing Anchor Points

I'm assuming you had to do this to get enough vertical out of the moveable sight for longer ranges? If you have to continue with the anchor change definitely put a kisser button on I think you'll find it helps recreate proper anchor from shot to shot, eventually you'll regain some muscle memory...

Bear hunting in Quebec - Val d'or - zone 13

Fairly sure non residents can't hunt black bear or woodcock in Quebec without using an outfitter. I would check the regs closely. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    NE WA spring bear down

Congratulations on the bear! Not sure I understand the reason for chasing after it right away? I've always given them 20-30 mins. Shot one with the bow last week and found it 50 yards away after 25 minutes. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Kuiu QC issues?

Did you try contacting kuiu before complaining on the Internet? In my experience their customer service is pretty good, I'm sure they would take care of you. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Lighted nocks

I use nocturnals as well. 1 of the 6 I purchased didn't work very well. My only complaint is after you shoot an animal blood becomes trapped in the switch and can't be removed from the nock. I've since learned to stick a small piece of scotch tape over the switch hole before hunting. Sent...

    Which glue for insert

Gorilla glue works well it is very strong and the 10 second stuff is no joke. I just glued a couple of fingers together tonight while fletching. Acetone, gas, brake cleaner don't work. Eventually I used a havalon blade to carefully separate them. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Kuiu sfs bow kit or similar?

I have the cabelas camo version of this (no fletching cover), very happy with it for protecting my strings and sight. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Hawaii?

Lots of good info, thank you! Thinking maybe Maui might work, found a resort in Kaanapali that looks to be an hour from the Maui hunting safari outfitters. I will send some emails out to try and get info. Jaguigui, I will likely be in touch if I figure out where we are going to go. Sent from...

    Hawaii?

Thanks Todd I'll see if I can get in touch with him. Mjm316, to be honest I don't know....these beach vacations aren't really my thing but she deserves it. I'm usually planning backpacking trips for us, already have a canoe trip planned for this summer but these resort vacations aren't my thing...

    Hawaii?

This is kind of hunting related but probably a bit off topic for this forum. I'd like to take my wife to Hawaii (married 2 yrs and no honeymoon), maybe in February and was wondering if anyone has some suggestions. Ideally it would be on your typical resort with pool, spa, beach and dining...

    Lightest barrel you would use?

Sounds like a load of bull, coefficient of thermal expansion for titanium is lower (not by much) than steel. Also, how many rounds would you need to machine gun through a bolt action to heat the action up enough to throw off tolerances?? Throat would be toast by then I think. It used to be...

    Custom Strings.

I've used both of the companies you are thinking about and kept using vaportrail, their vtx strings are awesome. I had no reason to switch from vaportrail except I picked up a set of 60x fury threads last fall so I will try them out this summer. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Thinking of a build (custom bolt action). Never had one done. Probably my only one.

With your budget I would pick up a used Remington 700 and have the action trued, custom barrel, timney trigger and then keep an eye out for a lightweight McMillan or manners stock. Sell the factory barrel, stock and trigger to recoup some $. I have rifles built off of 600, 700, and pierce...
