I have family that have taken Ambien and have some funny stories to go with them. With some of the stories, I wouldnt want to be wandering around the high country hopped up on Ambien :-)
BTW I just sent you a PM... check your inbox
I was having discussion with a fellow hunter about backpack hunting.
I mentioned I always have trouble winding down at the end of the day and never sleep well. I always have thoughts about what to do, my plan for the next day, sore feet, etc... that keep me from sleeping well
He said pop in...
So are you shooting a four fletch now with standard blazers?
I have arrows that I already shoot with a 3 blazer setup that fly great with no clearance issues. Ive always wanted to shoot small diameter arrows, but with all the research I was doing, everyone seemed to believe that a 4 fletch was...
I second that. Nick is a great guy and will help you out. Even if he wont pack you in, he will give you some info on the area and where to get into some decent spots.
Like Jason said, that is a good unit. After a little scouting on Google Earth, it will be pretty clear where you can get up...
I decided to give the DCA SD Hunter Series Shafts a try.
If I decided to go with a four fletch setup, would l want to use a smaller vane like the Blazer X2?
Or is the shaft big enough for four standard blazers? Would that be overkill?
Im glad you posted this... I just logged on to open it up for opinions. I have been looking at going with the H52w AA just because of the option for the standard lithium AA battery and still produces 200+ lumens

I am looking forward to seeing this video. I have heard awesome reviews and bet it is a quality film.
I watched one of the filmed hunts take place in Nevada. I was sitting under a tree in the middle of the day waiting for the action to pick up and some guy came sneaking down the hill behind...
After being used in the field for a year, I would like to hear from those that have used Toxic BH's.
Lots of good reviews in the beginning, but not a lot of recent info that I could find. (I apologize if this has been covered)
I've tested the first generation heads.
They flew awesome, but for some reason I never trusted them. My rinehart target bent the ferrule so they would no longer deploy. I bet you will like them and their accuracy. That mixed with the ability to use each one as a practice head with the set screw...
I spend a lot of time on my arrows. Why have a super tuned bow shooting crappy arrows?
The best results I have come across is stiff spined arrows with 125 grain fixed head and 4 fletch at the back. They are heavy and the extra weight up front has improved FOC and they fly great. I am only...
I also have an Elite.
I switched from Hoyt to Elite two years ago and the difference is amazing.
To answer your first post, I shot my Alphamax with 80 lbs limbs and my new Elite has 80 lbs limbs as well. With the solid backwall and draw cycle, shooting 80 lbs with the Elite is much easier...
I am not 100% sure on what this tag entails...
Can a guy hunt all three season anywhere in the state for that species as long as you follow the season dates?
To me the PIW tag, Dream tag, and Silver State tag all seem very similar with the exception of how you apply with one being a raffle...
Don't waste three points on the Ruby's. You can draw that 0 pts. It is my favorite hunt in the state, but would not choose it if I had points built up
There are some quality units that can be drawn with 3 points...
