Was thinking the same thing.
I was lucky with them. I said I wanted to order a TBAC and their salesman basically called me stupid for wanting a TBAC instead of a Banish. Made it an easy decision not to shop there.
OP good luck.
I wear super thin liners and Kinco mittens. If I need dexterity I can slide the mitten off and do something without my hand instantly freezing. The coldest I’ve used them was -33*.
I wouldn't want to be in charge of the private land/wildlife conflict.
"I should get access or the ranch gets nothing"
"I should be able to get compensated for the states citizens animals competing with me trying to make a living"
ETC
Sometimes I think game and fish should just call out...
Dude stop with the misinformation already. We have went over this in the past.
I agree. It's super frustrating when residents keep pushing misinformation ;)
Montana.
South Dakota. You could draw a tag west river rifle in a year or two and the tags aren’t expensive. Also can draw the black hills. Probably not going to get a big buck in the hills, but you could do a west river and a black hills hunt the same year.
North Dakota. Hard to draw a...
I agree with KurtR when it comes to ND. I spent a lot of time scouting last year for my wife and kid’s tags. I did not see a big mule deer. If a guy wants he can get in multiple stalks a day on young deer.
I don’t ever see very many recommendations for SFP unless the OP specifically states it. And neither are $500.
So used scopes, or something that is SFP and not recommended that much. And none except maybe the 6x that is $500. Copy copy.
I’ve been seeing a lot of posts on SM of issues. I even saw them getting compared to ATN because of the issues.
I’ve seen lots of positives from pro staff and dealers.
Whether residents take from the non res slice of the pie or outfitters, it’s a net loss for diy non res hunters. But at least non res still get a chance at those tags if they pony up to go with an outfitter.
Non res costs are/have been expensive for awhile. Tons of threads on it. Pretty much it is “tough crap, if you don’t like it move here”
And then you see the next thread discussing declining “insert species.” After debating the cause, too many non res, too many residents, usually there is a...
Your 1000 yard scenario could end up spitting out 6.15 UP. What happens then with a MIL scope? You decide to dial 6.1 or 6.2. Pretty basic. Just like if you had an MOA scope and it said to dial 6.12 UP. You would dial 6 or 6.25. Basic.
I’m not sure what that has to do with you saying you can...
That’s true depending on the yardage you are adjusting for. To move 0.1” with a MIL scope I believe your target would be @27.78 yards away.
Op if I was shooting out to 1400 yards I would want 15x-18x. 6x magnification would be tough at that distance.
Light gathering has a lot to do with...
I don’t believe there is an actual “spec” for a .30 cal suppressor from .gov.
When I built a Form 1 suppressor the main thing I came across on the bore size was it’s fine to be bigger than the list caliber. But not smaller.
I do think it would change how well the suppressor worked since the...
Uh this is Rokslide. Pretty sure everyone on here laces up their boots in the house and starts walking from there. The only ATV RS’ers use are Crocs.
There is a failure out there that happened after the drop test portion. Obviously according to the info presented it’s not the norm. But can happen.
Yea I’ll do better. I’ll try to only post 5 times in those threads instead of 15 :)
Rechambering the 243’s that have an 8 twist isn’t horrible but still an extra expense.
