I agree some thing is better than nothing but hate to tell op I can be in that box in about 1 min if somebody wants it bad enough they will get it. ABQ is horrible and your druggies don’t care what it is that they steal that’s free money for them
Bugle a bull calling cows most the time the herd bull doesn’t know what happened and if he think a sneaky bull slipped in and is trying to cut out some cows
I'm sure it depends on which state and local but typically I find a lot more people in the wilderness areas especially the southern part of Colorado every hunter from south carolina to New Mexico has watched all those hunting shows that take place in the "backcountry wilderness" and they funnel...
Look an idiot is an idiot. several years ago an archery hunter was shot with an arrow through his thigh wearing a bright yellow slicker. How that's even conceivable is beyond me. Idiots are everywhere but that doesn't stop me from going I guess If its my time at least I went doing what I love.
I agree that most people exaggerate how far in: sometimes by taking a trail it will be farther than straight line though . most are not farther than a couple miles but if you ask them they hiked 12 miles. Elk find where people aren't. whether that's 6 miles in or 400 yds off the highway that...
why on earth would anyone post a specific place or unit even, all that does is hurt chances of hunting it even for the others who hunt it
p.s. it not that hard people get up in the sangres all the time.
Most of the guys discussing are from southern states south is closer to Texas Arkansas New Mexico ect up north ya other options than Colorado so discussion is spread throughout Colorado Idaho Montana Wyoming
we used too a lot then they started shutting down areas so we have had to go without for several years. I would suggest riding as much as you can in the hills I know hauling out a bull in rocky terrain was quite the experience. good luck
this is exactly right! obviously if third axis isn't set that could be it but if he said he has already checked that and if its off it will be off going up hill as well. my draw length felt short and as previously stated I would scrunch up.
my guess is form as well especially if third axis is set just something I found draw horizontal and then pivot at hips down might help but like you I was ok with up but down I chicken winged my release arm out to the side it would throw arrows had a friend watch me to point it out just something...
shared once because i kinda got talked into it afterwards I felt like I was just saying look at me!!!! look at me!! But i'm kinda torn because I enjoy seeing others pics and stories so I guess I should input mine too. Kind of a catch 22
Thanks good luck I had found a buck earlier but haven;t been able to get up again but hoping to on this fri or sat. was curious if they were still High although today there was snow up on top so we will see.
so did anyone see any bucks above timberline this weekend in CO I saw sheep and elk but didn't see any deer up that high but not my usual place for deer.
I would say he just didn't have the genetics I agree he is mature maybe Im wrong but I just don't see that buck would be a 180" fourpoint. My impression is that he has always been somewhat at that horn configuration
