    Hunting elk alone?

    I'll be 57 this fall and I put in for deer, elk and antelope in Idaho. I live on the Gulf Coast. Would almost certainly be a solo hunt. If I draw I'll figure it out, one bite at a time. As long as I'm able, I will be out there. I want to live till I die.

    I get muscle spasms in my back, I think from an old football injury/slipped vertebrae. Absolutely shuts me down when it happens, usually for a week.

    Thinking of tossing my shoulder mounts….

    I've gone to mostly Euros myself. Saves money and I dont have the taxidermist drama. If I wanted to get rid of shoulder mounts I would pull the antlers off at least. No way I'm getting rid of those.

    Steve is incredibly annoying. Rarely watch his stuff but saw an episode yesterday and it reminded me of his arrogance and why I dont watch.
