T&k hunting gear makes good quality American made stuff. Id say their bino harness and leg gaiters are better than sitka. Gulch gear makes good made camo gear. SKRE is another good one.

Unfortunately yes made in China I believe but based in the US. As of now though their business practices are neutral compared to Sitka so its a better option if you're trying to be conscious about who you spend your money with.

I hate the Sitka harness. Don't even wear much but their ws hoodie now. Try to buy American at all costs.

This is actually pretty sad, and selfish. Family should always come first and brothers should be be able to disagree without hating each other. I got in more fist fights with my brother growing up than all other people combined and after we cooled doen, we laughed and put it behind us. I hope they can mend their relationship someday.

Maybe I should stay out of this one as I have bias due to the fact that I work with Matt on the Hunt quietly team and hunters for access, but I just want to say the overall message is you can spend your money on equal or better gear and support other companies that don't have an agenda that is detrimental to the future of hunting. Sitka cares about their bottom line and pretty much nothing else.

Matt is a good dude and his mission is an honorable one.

Sitka is a huge supporter of active military, veterans, and law enforcement and proves that in their pro program. Sitkas clothing hands down outlasts many brands such as first lite by far. Most other brands that are equal to or better than Sitka are pretty much in the same price point so Im not really understanding the conversation on price. Did sitka partner with an anti second amendment group such as chernin? Did sitka bash republicans and the second amendment such as an un named tent company? I think there is much better conversation to be had about those problems first. Then we can get to the "those pants are to expensive and that guys not country enough for me" conversation.

And this is coming from the guy that’s generally annoyed 95% of the time with Steve interrupting everybody.

I could be totally wrong, but I really feel like he is jealous of Steve’s success, he is being contrarian because of it.

Yes, it seems that he hates how successful his little brother is. But it could be just a huge disagreement on philosophy. In either case, he's not as skilled in his approach to getting out his message.

It is sad that Steve and Matt no longer have a relationship (if that’s the truth). They are brothers, you can agree to disagree.

Both Steve and Matt are intelligent people who also have big egos. Steve is much more eloquent in his delivery and seems more apt to readily consider both sides of a situation and then formulate an opinion from there. Matt just cones across as bitter and and a bully. Which is sad, because he’s clearly very smart and his ideas and opinions aren’t bad at all. But his delivery needs work.

But I agree with others on here. Matt often comes across as a big brother who is mad that little bro has outdone him.
