Having a tough time picking a stove for My Nemo pentalite i want a longer burn time as i want to use for winter camping .Easy assembly .The HPG stove is real nice but they are having a bit of trouble finding a reliable manufacturer.I like the Seek outside titanium box stove and the Rotu Locu...
Just bought a pair of Conquests today.Tried the 4D on as well but wanted something a bit lighter for warm weather training .The conquests should be a nice all around hiking boot the 4D more of a heavier pack alpine boot.I have Meindles for the big load really steep stuff.
I use the Rab Latok gaiter .You're right they are not too high but they tend to slowly slip down a bit .Event is awesome pants stay dry and sweat disappears. And they a re good quality.
I have Kuiu attack pants and Sitka timberline pants.Prefer the timberlines for the waterproof butt , knees and suspenders.Heavier than the Kuiu both fit well no complaints with the quality of either pant.
I have a pair of Timberline pants in solid on the way.Reinforced Knees and Rear and best of all suspenders.I have Kuiu Attacks but i don't like wearing belts when backpacking really wish they they had proper loops for suspenders.
Stove won't run all night so you need to use a bag appropriate to the outside temperature.People use stoves for drying out clothing evening and morning comfort and for tent bound weather.
Great thread lots of sensible perspective .The new Kuiu bag is way overpriced i see no Direct to Consumer savings here or superior product advantage to whats available elsewhere for less.
