    Another MT Legislative Bill

https://www.outdoorlife.com/conservation/montana-ballot-initiative-land-big-game/ Is this old news? From the article, sounds like this bill will have a hard time gaining traction.

    Suppressor wait times

Anyone know of a difference in wait times? Assuming individual would be shorter vs trust. Just ordered on black Friday and hoping to take possession by next Oct. Thinking individual as I have heard these get approved for the most part, sooner vs a trust with multiple trustees. Anyone have...

    FCS Playoffs

NDSU coming to Bozeman in the postseason.... That is nightmare memories for cats fans. I was on the team when Wentz came to town and handed the ball off all game long. They ran three plays.. all game and dominated. Was feeling pretty good about MSU before the brawl, now not so much...

    6.5 PRC Reloading Help

I feel the prc is pretty easy to reload for across the board. I settled with 156 EOL, ADG brass, 215M, 57g of RE26. I am at 2990 with a SD of 3 and .7's group. 24" Howa carbon barreled action.

    Swaro ATC vs ATS

I've had all these scopes + Kowa 77. Optically the Kowa is brighter + better resolution out of my eyes. Being a 77 vs 65, that would be expected. I did end up selling the kowa and keeping the 65. I just could never learn to enjoy the kowa eye piece.

Idahoans do not like out-of-state hunters

If I go hunt the breaks I FEEL like the NR with how many NR plates are camped in there. Ill stick to the g bear country.

    MT - backcountry rifle

There is a reason it's a backcountry hunt. Elk numbers are dismal in there. But you could go on a wolf hunt instead and carry and elk tag with you, just in case.

Grizzly Encounter / Shots Fired near Big Sky

Living here, for sure. I do use that as an advantage. I know many local guys who will not hunt SW MT anymore bc of their fear of bears. Go to the breaks or eastern MT, i have never seen so many people "hunting" in my life (mostly NR plates). Draw odds are tough to correlate to IMO, they give...

Grizzly Encounter / Shots Fired near Big Sky

Sounds like you don't know how the "process" works. https://www.nbcnews.com/science/environment/federal-judge-restores-grizzly-protections-canceling-bear-hunt-n912741 I am not going to argue with you on a forum, it's clear these critters don't apply to your livelihood.

Grizzly Encounter / Shots Fired near Big Sky

Crazy day. We were in the adjourning basin on Friday. We shot a bull that morning, as we were waiting our time on the ridge we heard the gunshots, about 30 minutes later we spotted two 250 lb cubs pop over the ridge and run down into our basin. As the day progressed we saw the S&R vehicles come...

    Go in deep!

Not to crush your dreams, but were those 350" bulls tied to trees? All this talk is saying they are already on the ground, dead. If you were down in the hole and passed on a shot opportunity, then i could understand. I don't think you (or anyone) are just going to casually go in there and...

Have You Ever Notched Your Tag On Opening Day: A poll

My opinion its the "easiest" time to get on an elk. 2 of my last 4 bulls have been on opener. Could have added #3 this weekend, however I'm trying to graduate from the raghorn life.
