    I make my own. One pound of beeswax and one wax toilet ring. I have enough to outfit a medival British army. But it works great. Just the right amount of tackiness.

    I bottomed out the limbs. Checked the timing, through paper still perfect bullet holes. 291fps. I’m going to stick with the Axis. They seem like a solid arrow.

    I cut the arrow back to the front of the riser and gave each limb a half a turn. Bow is at 67lbs now. Was at 65ish. 282fps from a 520gr arrow. Not too shabby!?

    So here’s what I put together. I had the board laying around from another project as well as the clevises. The padding is double layer of tool. I’d drawer liner stapled on. All the hardware is mounted to the board with 1 1/2” lag screws.

    Thanks guys. I bought my buddies Halon 6. I like the feel better. I am waiting on the DL mods and then I’ll get it set up. Probably put new string and cables on it. Gonna hold on to the HTR for now. It really is a nice bow and maybe it will be my back up.
