Going out of state and family priorities?

We decided long ago that the chances of our kids actually making money in main stream sports is 1 in never. So we hunt and rodeo. They learn alot more doing these things anyway. And have an actual chance at making the NFR, or at least being extremely competitive. I'm not big on telling the 5'8...

The best state to live in for hunting

I would move to wyoming. If a guy could get a good paying job there...you'd be living in a hunters paradise Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk

    Tractors

I would not leave the dealer without a loader and 4x4. Buy a set of pallet forks. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk

    Grizzly Precautions.

I would build a quick tepee with small logs over the elk carcass. Especially if I had to leave it. On return if the tepee is knocked over well....I doubt it was the wind. Maybe you've heard the joke about the bear bells? Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk

    Pop Up Campers

The key to any camper is having a dry place to store it when you're home. And I would never buy one that has set outside. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk

    Cutting torch

The problem was it never restricted any pressure. It was wide open out of the tank. The victor gauges are about ~6 years old. The airco are ancient Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk

    Cutting torch

I have 4 sets of torches in my shop. I hooked up a set to cut some today and apparently 2 of the oxy gauges wont work properly. One set is a victor, the other an airco. Very good quality gauges. I used an old Taiwan set from a yard sale to get me through go figure. Can I rebuild those gauges...

    Questions to ask a local

For starters, you only talk about trucks, rainfall amounts, drought conditions, hay crops, good coffee shops and women for the first 45 minutes. Then you might just vaguely mention deer. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk

Bargain gear for the poor or beginners and tight asses.

I remember the first time I went prairie dog hunting. My seasoned buddy told me a thousand times to buy a scope. I said dude I have a simmons 44 mag on my rifle that thing is super clear. Ha. It didnt take long after I got home to order up some leopold's. Same goes for my elk hunting. Like you...

    Family RV trip advice

We took 3 kids to yellowstone from Missouri last year. Pulled our camper with a crew cab flatbed truck loaded with bikes and chairs and a bbq grill. We stopped at parks etc and made our own food. Saved millions I'm sure. One piece of advice, dont feel like you have to have an agenda. When we...

    Got em worked

400 is a day for sure. It would take the best crew then some to drag that many. We've done about 175 in a day before. Better have extra horses and tough hands. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk

    Got em worked

I second that. I see BJ about 3 or 4 times a year at different branding and clinics. He does a clinic at my place on a Saturday, then preaches at our church on Sunday morning. I still haven't made it out to his place in Colorado. We keep threatening to go out just never have. I think I'd get...
